Meaning–thinking–AI

Abstract This paper makes the case for a sharper terminology regarding AIs cognitive abilities. In arguing that thinking requires more than content production, I offer definition of meaning drawing on clear distinction between living and machine intelligence. A pivotal argument is re-use Turing Test (TT) understanding which theories consciousness are no longer plausible—because they have been reproduced by software without thereby gaining conscious experience. following few not (yet) failed this reversed (RTT), focus turns towards rethinking human condition in times AI along lines three questions: What if developed consciousness? proceeded developing What, machinic intelligence merged? These questions end lead to examining related possible futures humanism as now determined relation Human Intelligence AI.
